With the first day of December, Rock for People has launched the traditional advent calendar, which reveals one band each day throughout the month until Christmas. The first window in the calendar on Rock for People’s website belongs to The Offspring. The second out of four headliners of the festival, who are set to perform at the 28th Rock for People at Park 360, Hradec Králové from June 12 to 15 alongside Bring Me The Horizon, Avril Lavigne, Pendulum, Corey Taylor, or Parkway Drive.

“This is always my favorite time of the year, one that I’m very excited about along with the fans. We couldn’t have started the marathon of announcing 24 new names in the line-up with anyone else than the legendary Offspring, who will celebrate their 40th anniversary with us next year,” says festival director Michal Thomes.
Before the advent calendar, the organizers also announced an exclusive comeback after an 8-year-long hiatus of The Ecstasy of Saint Theresa – a project of Jan P. Muchow, one of the most significant Czech music composers. The project provided music e.g. to the Czech cult classic Samotáři.
The start of the advent calendar also marks a strengthened collaboration with Konsent, a nonprofit organization which strives to debunk myths about sex and sexual abuse. When purchasing a ticket to the festival, everyone can now donate a financial amount of their own choice to the organization and help further develop the organization’s activities. The fund-raising campaign also involves a Christmas charity event held for Konsent by Rock for People at Rock Café on December 13. The program includes performances from Lazer Viking, Wild Tides, Annabelle, Rodan, .themayrevolution, and DJ ŠatySVlečkou. Tickets are available at:

Limited-edition tickets to Rock for People are available at GoOut.net or at https://rockforpeople.cz/en/vstupenky/. Special tickets (VIP, Comfy+, Children, Junior, Junior ISIC, Senior, ZTP (severe health disability)), camps, glamping, and parking are also now available for purchase. Once the current edition of tickets sells out, a new edition of tickets for a higher price will follow. One-day tickets will become available in late December.
